POWLEY - MILLER.

  Mr. Clarence Powley, of Independence, Wis., and Miss Violet A. Miller were 
quietly united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents, 1121 Fourth 
avenue, last evening at 8:30 o'clock by Rev. J. K. Knisely, pastor of the 
Juniata Methodist Episcopal church.  After congratulations had been extended 
a luncheon was served to quite a number of guests who witnessed the ceremony.  
Many beautiful gifts were received by the young couple.
