D. H. Barron, Col. I. H. Rawlins and Miss Mary C. Bohn, both of this place. The Church, on the occasion of this happy event, was crowded with the friends and well wishers of the youthful pair - for, all the daughters of Hollidaysburg, none were more lovely and fair, or of a more amiable disposition, and none have more sincere friends, or is more of a general favorite in the community - and our gallant soldier friend, who, on the battle field, was as brave as his companion is fair, is certainly fortunate and happy in the selection of a life partner, as she is in the selection of a companion to lean upon, and with whom to pass down the placid stream of life. May happiness and bliss - plenty and contentment - ever be their lot - and may they, after a long life of usefulness, be gathered to the abode of the just, where they will abide together in bliss from everlasting to everlasting. General D. S. Elliott, of Everett, Bedford county, officiated as groomsman, and Miss Delia Banks, of this place, as bridesmaid. Immediately after the conclusion of the ceremonies, the pair took their departure for an extensive wedding tour, including the eastern cities, Niagara Falls, and Canada, and the best wishes of our people go with them for a pleasant tour and a safe return to their home and their many friends.
