WILLIAM REISH [photo] Miss Glenn Becomes Bride The Jaggard Memorial Methodist church was the scene of a lovely summer wedding on Saturday evening, June 26, at 7:30 o'clock when Miss Geraldine Esther Glenn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester C. Glenn of 1922 Logan avenue, became the bride of William S. Reish, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Reish of 2507 Third avenue before a candle-lit altar beautifully decorated with palms, ferns and roses. Rev. Robert Karalfa performed the double-ring ceremony. Prior to the ceremony Mrs. J. E. Brooks, church organist, played "Sweetest Story Ever Told" and "O Perfect Love." Miss Margaret Carn sang "Calm as the Night" by Bohm and "Beloved" by Aylward, and "The Lord's Prayer" as the couple knelt at the altar, accompanied by Mrs. Brooks. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a white tropical suit with white accessories and wore an orchid corsage. Miss Jane Glenn, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and wore a gold cloth suit with white accessories and a corsage of talisman roses. Harry Reish, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man and the ushers were Albert Martin and Harry Mosher, cousins of the bride. The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a three-strand pearl necklace and the bride's gift to him was a lighter. The bridegroom presented gold tie clasps to the best man and ushers and the bride gave a gold bracelet to the maid of honor. The bride is a graduate of the Altoona High school, class of 1942, and is employed by Sylvania Electric products company. The bridegroom served 3 years in World war II and is employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad company. Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride for 75 guests. The couple left for a wedding trip to Cape May, N. J., and they will at home after July 15 in their newly furnished apartment at 2817 Sixth avenue.
