Rice and Miss Emma Cherry, both of this city, were united in marriage at the parsonage of the First Lutheran church, by Rev. O. C. Roth, at 7.30 o'clock last evening. After the ceremony a reception was tendered the happy couple at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Cherry, 909 Nineteenth avenue. The groom is an industrious young man and is employed as a painter in the Juniata shops. The bride is an estimable young lady, well fitted to assume the position she has chosen. They left on Philadelphia express to visit Philadelphia, New York and Atlantic City, and on their return will reside at 1127 Twelfth avenue. Morning Tribune, Wednesday, January 24, 1900
