A Jewish Wedding.

  Yesterday afternoon Max Rosenburg and Jennie Bialostosky were united 
in marriage at the Synagogue according to the customs of the Jewish 
ceremony.  The bride stood under a canopy held over her head by four 
male friends immediately in front of the alter [sic], on which stood 
the three lighted candles.  The glass was broken, the wine drank, and 
Jennie went forth a happy bride.  We shall always remember Jennie as 
the dispenser of some very fine cake and fruit to the printer.  Many 
thanks for the courtesy.
