Ross, son of Mr. and Mrs. George P. Ross of Williamsburg, and Miss Kathryn Roller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Roller, of Second street, Williamsburg, were married at noon Thursday at the bride's home by Rev. Dr. J. E. Irvine, pastor of the Presbyterian church, using the ring ceremony. The contracting parties stood before a background of national colors. The bridegroom wore the official uniform, while the bride was attired in a traveling suit of blue. Only the immediate relatives and intimate friends were present. Lieutenant Ross is a graduate of State college and since entering the National army service he has been located at several points connected with the ordnance department as inspector of machine guns. At this time he has been transferred from West Rock, Ill., to Springfield, Mass. The bride is one of Blair county's most popular society women. She held a position as clerk with the Pennsylvania railroad for several months. Immediately after the ceremony they left for Altoona by automobile, where they took the train for Springfield, Mass., where the bridegroom will resume his duties.
