Shannon, the well known jeweler, residing at 110 Washington avenue, and Miss Estelle M. Russell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Russell, of 711 Twelfth street, were married yesterday afternoon in St. Luke's Protestant Episcopal church by the rector, Rev. George R. Bishop. A number of relatives and friends were present to witness the ceremony, the impressive ring ritual being used. Mr. and Mrs. Shannon left on an afternoon train for points in the west where they will spend several days on their honeymoon and upon their return, will reside at the Shannon home, 110 Washington avenue. Mr. Shannon is the junior member of the firm of Shannon & Bro., who have been in the jewelry business in Altoona for the past twenty years and is prominently identified with the city's commercial and financial life. His bride is an estimable young woman of prepossessing appearance, who is very popular in a wide circle of friends. Their many friends wish them abundant happiness.
