SHIFFLER - BORLAND.

  In the presence of a few of the immediate friend of the contracting 
parties, Mr. Elmer Shiffler and Miss Mary Borland were united in 
marriage at the residence of J. L. Reifsneider, 1916 Union avenue, at 7 
o'clock last evening.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. F. Moyer, 
of Christ Reformed church.  After the ceremony the bridal party and 
guests partook of an elegant wedding supper.  The groom is manager of 
the Anchor stationery store, a popular member of the Belvidere club and 
an exemplary gentleman in all the walks of life.  His charming bride is 
loved and esteemed by a large circle of friends.
