Shiffler - Herr.

  Mr. Edgar H. Shiffler and Miss Amelia E. Herr, both of this city, 
were quietly united in marriage at 8 o'clock Thursday morning at the 
manse of the Second Presbyterian church by the pastor, Rev. Dr. H. H. 
Stiles.  They were attended by Mr. Charles Walters and Miss Ida Herr, a 
sister of the bride, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry D. Herr, 
of 2210 Seventh avenue.  Both young people are well known in the city 
and have a wide circle of friends.  They will take up housekeeping at 
1214 Ninth street.
