SHIFFLER - SINGISER.

  At the parsonage of the Eighth avenue Methodist Episcopal church, on 
Monday evening, Mr. M. J. Shiffler and Mrs. Ada Singiser, both of 
Altoona, were united in the bonds of holy matrimony by Rev. H. R. 
Bender, D.D.  They departed the same evening on a trip to Philadelphia, 
New York and Washington and on their return will go to housekeeping at 
No. 1920 Eighth avenue.  The groom is clerk to Mr. Peter Moore, foreman 
of the company's lathe shop, and is also a member of common council 
from the Sixth ward.  To him and his bride the TRIBUNE extends 
congratulations.
