SHORTER - TAYLOR.

  Mr. William T. Shorter of this city and Miss Harriet A. Taylor of Bellwood 
were married at the home of the bride last evening at 8 o'clock by the Rev. 
Charles A. Walker, pastor of the Baptist church of Bellwood.  The ceremony 
was witnessed only by the families and immediate friends of the contracting 
parties.  The bride and groom are both well and favorably known colored 
young people.  They will reside in this city.
