SHUGART - SHAY

  The last ceremony [performed by Justice of the Peace C. Irwin Lewis of 
Hollidaysburg] was performed at 6:30 o'clock, when Mr. James Paul Shugart, of 
Altoona, and Miss Margaret Irene Shay, of Barnesboro, Cambria county, were 
made man and wife.  The bride, who is a most estimable young woman, was 
attended by her mother.  The groom has become a member of Uncle Sam's great 
fighting force and leaves today for a military camp.  He is an employe of the 
Pennsylvania railroad company.  During his absence his bride will reside with 
her parents at Barnesboro.
