SIMPSON - FILER.

  Mr. Charles B. Simpson and Miss Annie E. Filer, both of this city, 
were quietly married at 8 o'clock Wednesday evening at the home of the 
bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Filer, 805 Fourth avenue.  The 
ceremony was performed in the presence of the immediate relatives and 
friends by Rev. C. L. Boecele, pastor of the St. James German 
Evangelical Lutheran church.  Both are popular and well known young 
people.  The groom is employed as a brakeman on the Pennsylvania 
railroad.  They will reside for the present at 805 Fourth avenue.
