Snyder Celebrated Their Silver Wedding Anniversary Last Night. Having been married twenty-five years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Millard Filmore Snyder last evening celebrated their silver wedding anniversary at their home, 1310 Third avenue. Half a hundred or more guests were present and the home was prettily decorated for the event. An evening of real pleasure was passed and was featured by solos rendered by Mrs. Robert H. Stone of Washington, D.C., Miss Portia Cheeseman, a duet by Misses Mary Banks and Mildred Snyder, the latter a daughter of the couple, and selections by the orchestra of the Eighth Avenue Methodist Sunday school. A dainty but appetizing luncheon was served on silver platters and each lady present received a silver tray as a souvenir of the pretty event. Mr. and Mrs. Snyder were united in marriage in the Eighth Avenue Methodist church twenty-five years ago by Rev. Jesse Bowman Young, pastor of the church at that time. One year after the joyful event they took up their residence at 1310 Third avenue, where they have since resided. They enjoy the respect and esteem of a wide circle of friends and this was fully attested by the numerous and beautiful presents they received, the pretties being possibly a silver tea set. The union has been blessed by six children, all of whom participated in the festivities. They are: J. Malcolm Snyder, a clerk in Trainmaster Steel's office; Mrs. John F. Knubel of Washington, D.C., Mildred, Minifred [sic], Anna and Ruth, at home. 1900 Ward 4 Altoona, Blair County census - Millard F. Snyder, 43 Anna W. Snyder, 40 Blanche R. Snyder, 17 John M.
