Morning Tribune, Friday, December 15, 1899 MERRY WEDDING BELLS The Marriage of Mr. Richard Moyston Snyder and Miss Ann Rebecca Ramey Solemnized in Second Lutheran Church. A pretty pink and white wedding was celebrated in Christ's Second Lutheran church last evening when Ann Rebecca Ramey, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. K. Ramey, of 1216 Twelfth street, was married to Mr. Richard Moyston Snyder, of this city. The church was prettily decorated for the occasion with palms and flowers. Promptly at 8 o'clock the bride and groom, attended by Miss Lorene Ramsey, sister of the bride, and Mr. W. C. Westfall, entered the church to Mendelssohn's wedding march and advanced to the altar, where Rev. Dr. George Scholl, of Baltimore, a former pastor of the church, spoke the words that united the happy couple in the holy bonds of wedlock. The bride was beautifully gowned in a creation of white satin and point lace and carried bride's roses. The bridesmaid wore white liberty silk and carried pink carnations. The groom is employed in the general superintendent's office of the Pennsylvania railroad and he is a well known and popular young man. The bride is a young lady who has hosts of friends who will wish her a bright and happy future. The day of her marriage is also an anniversary of her birth. A reception at the home of the bride's parents, which was tastefully decorated, followed the ceremony. Fully 200 guests, many being from Pittsburg, Huntingdon, Philadelphia and Hollidaysburg, were in attendance. After congratulations had been extended a wedding supper was served by a corps of waiters from the Logan house. The bride received numerous beautiful and useful gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Snyder, after a ten days' wedding trip in the east, will take up their residence at 2009 West Chestnut avenue, where they will be at home to their friends after January 10.
