Spear, formerly of Johnstown, but now located in Pittsburgh, and Miss Margaret C. Ridenour of that city, formerly of Altoona, procured a marriage license at Hollidaysburg yesterday. After a short visit with Hollidaysburg friends they took an afternoon train to Pittsburgh, where they will be wedded this evening. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Saturday Morning, November 16, 1918 SPEAR - RIDENOUR. John L. Spear and Miss Margaret C. Ridenour, both of Pittsburgh, were united in marriage Saturday evening at 5 o'clock at the home of Mrs. O. P. Aiken of 2516 Dysart avenue, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Clayton Grinnell of the First Baptist church in the presence of the bride's family. The bridegroom is employed in the traffic department of the Jones & Laughlin Steel company and they will make their home in Pittsburgh. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Morning, November 19, 1918
