A DOUBLE WEDDING.

  A most interesting and delightful event was celebrated at the 
Methodist Episcopal parsonage on Tuesday evening, the 20th inst.  The 
wedding of the Misses M. Josie and Bessie L., daughter of Rev. T. M. 
Reese, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Shamokin, to Mr. 
Joseph K. Stiffler and Lloyd B. Tietsworth.  The ceremony took place at 
8 o'clock, Rev. T. M. Reese, the father of the brides, officiating, 
assisted by his son, Rev. William Reese, of McConnellsburg.  Mr. Joseph 
K. Stiffler, one of the grooms, is a resident of Allegheny township, 
this county.
