STOKE - JANES.

  At the parsonage of the First Baptist church, Tuesday evening at 8 
o'clock, Rev. Dr. Clayton Grinnell performed the impressive ring 
ceremony that made Miss Velda Kathryn Janes the bride of W. Frank 
Stoke.  The couple were attended by Mr. Arthur W. Stoke, brother of the 
groom, and Miss Violet Smith, intimate friend of the bride.  The bride 
is a daughter of Mrs. Kathryn Janes, of 914 Howard avenue.  The groom 
is a son of the late G. Warren Stoke, and is employed as an automobile 
machinist with the National Motor Car company.
