STREIT - HARKINS.

  Mr. George F. Streit and Miss Caroline Harkins were married at 5 o'clock 
this morning, at St. John's church.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. 
Father Fox, who celebrated a nuptial high mass.  Only the relatives and a 
few immediate friends of the contracting parties witnessed the ceremony.  
Mr. and Mrs. Streit left on Atlantic express at 6 o'clock, for a trip to Hot 
Springs, Va., and Old Point Comfort, where they will spend their honeymoon 
of two weeks.  Shortly after their return to the city they will take up 
their residence on Thirteenth avenue, near Twelfth street.  The groom is a 
well known and popular shoe merchant of this city.  His bride is the 
accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Harkins, of Twelfth avenue, 
between Fourteenth and Fifteenth streets.  They both have a host of friends, 
who wish them much happiness in their wedded life.
