MATRIMONIAL.

UPDIKE - HANEY.

  On Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock Edward W. Updike, of Tyrone, and Miss 
Anna B. Haney, of Osceola Mills, were joined in the bonds of matrimony by 
Justice of the Peace Isaac M. Irwin, at his sanctum on Allegheny street.  The 
couple were attended by the mother and sister of the bride, who is a very 
popular and estimable young woman of her home town.  The groom is a brakeman 
on the Clearfield railroad.  They will take up their residence at Tyrone, 
with the best wishes of a host of friends.
