WAITE - SHAWLEY.

  Miss Margaret Alma Shawley of Birmingham, Pa., and Sylvester C. Waite 
of Tyrone, were united in marriage last evening at 8 o'clock at the 
residence of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Waite of West 
Eleventh street.  The attendants were Miss Meryl Shawley and Harry E. 
Steele, both of this place.  The parents of the bride and Mrs. Raymond 
Igou, another sister of the bride, also witnessed the ceremony, which 
was performed by Justice of the Peace W. F. Taylor, sr.  The groom is 
employed at the Adams Express office at Tyrone, and his bride is one of 
Birmingham's well known young ladies.  They will reside here.
