Mr. Samuel Walker, now of Detroit, Michigan, but lately clerk to Foreman Peter Moore in the company's upper lathe shop, will be married in the First Presbyterian church this evening to Miss Carrie J., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Keesbury. They will leave tonight for Detroit. Both of the young people have been popular in Altoona' social circles and their happy wedding will be the occasion for general congratulations. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday, March 21, 1893 WALKER - KEESBERRY. Samuel C. Walker, of Detroit, Michigan, and Miss Carrie W. Keesberry, were married in the First Presbyterian church, at 7 o'clock last evening by the pastor, Rev. J. W. Bain. Prof. Nelson played the wedding march. The ushers were Messrs. Phil. H. Hudson, Aldis N. Fay, Richard W. Fox and Joseph F. Grimes. The four flower girls were Misses Mary McCabe, a niece of the bride, Helen Leidel, Fanny Fay and Laura Leidel. After the ceremony the party repaired to the Keesberry residence, 1318 Twelfth avenue, where a bountiful repast was served. The presents received were numerous and handsome. Mr. Walter was formerly clerk to Foreman Peter Moore in the railroad company's lathe shop, and is exceedingly popular in Altoona. Owing to the serious illness, at his home in Shippensburg, of Mr. Walker's father, the newly married couple did not go at once to Detroit, as was originally intended. Instead they left on fast line east for Shippensburg and later will pass through this city enroute to Detroit where they will reside in the future.
