Mr. James Elwood Walter, whose home is at Baker Summit's [sic], and Miss Elva Pearl Fink, of Henrietta, were united in marriage at noon yesterday at the parsonage of the Trinity Reformed church by the pastor, Rev. James Riley Bergey. They were attended by Miss Edna Fink, of Henrietta, a sister of the bride and Mr. Harry Beach, of Henrietta. The bride is a well known young woman of the southern end of the county and has been a teacher in Hopewell township, Bedford county, for a number of years. The bridegroom is employed in this city by the Pennsy in the blacksmith shop. They departed for Henrietta yesterday afternoon where a reception was held in their honor. They will return to Altoona this spring, taking up housekeeping here.
