WALTERS - SMITH

Yesterday afternoon, at the residence of the bride's parents on Lexington 
avenue, in the presence of the immediate friends of the high contracting 
parties, Mr. William H. Walters, formerly of Bellwood, but now of this city, and 
in the employ of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company, was united in marriage to 
Miss Anetta Smith, Rev. E. D. Weigle officiating.  After the usual 
congratulations had been extended all present partook of a bountiful collation.  
The wedding presents were numerous, ornamental and useful.  The happy couple 
will spend several days with the groom's parents at Bellwood.  They will take no 
wedding trip and contemplate going to housekeeping in the fall.  Mr. Walters is 
an estimable young man, of good habits and industrious.  The lady who now shares 
his fortunes in life is in every way suited to become a true helpmate.  May 
their life be long and useful.
