CAROL BECKER BECOMES BRIDE

  Miss Carol Louise Becker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Becker of 
3910 Fifth avenue, became the bride of Pvt. Frederick Lee Williams son of Mr. 
and Mrs. William Rickets, of 605 Sixth avenue, on Friday, July 9, at Fort 
Sill, Okla.  Chaplain David H. Barnhill officiated.  The couple was attended 
by Sgt. Duane R. Leighton and Sgt. David D. Wilson.  The bridegroom is now 
stationed at Camp Chaffee, Ark.
  The following son was written for the couple by a service friend of the 
bridegroom:

Roses love sunshine,
Violets love dew.
Angels in heaven
Know I love you.

Short is the night, love,
Long is the day.
Oh! How I miss you
While I'm away.

Put your arms 'round me
For old times sakes
Bend your head over,
Hear my heart break.

Since I've been gone, dear,
I feel so blue.
Always remember
That I love you.

Soon I'll return, dear,
And close to you,
I'll be so happy
And never more blue.

We'll walk in the moonlight.
How happy we'll be,
Always together
Through eternity.
