Williams and Miss Mary Boynton Evans, both of Hollidaysburg, took place at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Henry J. Evans, 316 Walnut street, at noon yesterday. Rev. George Boggs performed the ceremony in the presence of the immediate friends and relatives of the contracting parties. There were no attendants. The bride wore a gown of white georgette crepe with a corsage bouquet of lilies-of-the valley and orchids. After the wedding breakfast, Mr. and Mrs. Williams departed on their wedding trip. They will be at home to their many friends at 1013 Walnut street, after December 2. Mr. Williams is one of the leading merchants of the town and county and ex-president of the borough council. His bride is a daughter of the late Dr. H. J. Evans and is an accomplished pianist and prominent in society circles. Altoona Times, Thursday Morning, October 10, 1918
