I C Kuhn considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory do made and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form as follows: First: I give and bequeath to my daughter Jane Eliza my property I now occupy in Frankstown for her benefit her lifetime also all the furniture including all the beds and bedding except the furniture in the parlor and then at her death said property to be sold and eaqually divided between Ann Myers, Mary Ann Shinafelt, George L. Kuhn, Jackson Kuhn, and Mrs. C. Kuhn Jr or her heirs. Also all my money that I have is to be divided eaqually among the above named heirs including Jane Eliza also all the out standing notes to be divided as above states as they come due. I further bequeath to my three grand children, viz George Fare one hundred dollars Elmer Fare one hundred dollars Harry Fare one hundred dollars it to be put in bank on interest out of my money I have on hand it to remain there unto they become of age that is the one comes of age first to get his money and so on unto they all three gets their money. I further bequeath to my daughter Ann Myers all the furniture, carpets in the parlor or front room. I further empower Wm shinafelt and Adam Myers to act as my (administrators crossed out) executors after my death also my funeral expenses to first be paid out of my money before there is any divide. In witness whereof I set my hand and seal this twelfth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy three. Jones Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for the county of Blair, personally came G. H. Steiner and Wm. McKilliss the subscribing witnesses to the above will and being duly sworn according to law did depose and say, they were personally present and saw and heard C Kuhn the testator sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for his testament and last will, that they sign their names in the presence and at the request of the said testator and in the presence of each other, and that at the time of so doing he the said testator was of perfect and sound mind, memory and understanding, to the best of their knowledge and belief. Before me the Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for the County of Blair, personally came William Shinafelt and Adam Myers who, being duly sworn, do depose and say that as executors of the Last Will and Testament of C Kuhn deceased, They will well and truly administer the goods and chattels, rights and credits of said deceased, according to law; (crossed out "And also will diligently comply with the provisions of the law relating to Collateral inheritances;") Also is applied for does not in value exceed the sum of seven thousand dollars to the best of their knowledge and belief.
