I Samuel Dyer considering the uncertainties of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory do make & publish this my last will and testament in manner & form following (that is to say) First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Hulda Dyer one third of my real estate (except that portion surveyed to my son Ephraim Dyer) the part where the buildings stand. I give and bequeath unto my beloved son Ephraim Dyer ______ that lot of land which he now lives on and has been surveyed to him. I will and bequeath unto my beloved son William Dyer the third part of my real estate except as before mentioned. I will and bequeath unto my beloved son Charles Dyer the remaining third part of my real estate. The real estate to be so divided that these/there _____ be _____ when each portion of it. And that Charles Dyer shall retain his house. I will and bequeath unto my beloved wife my bay (?) mare (?) and also all my household ______ and furniture and the _________. And lastly as to the rest & residue & remainder of my personal estate goods & chattel, to ___________ ___________the farm for the express(?) benefit of my two youngest daughters(?). William & Charles Dyer whom I do hereby appoint sole executors of this my last will and testament. In writing (?) __________I have herewith set my hand & seal the Eighteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & fifty two. Samuel Dyer Signed sealed published & declared by the above named Samuel Dyer to be his last will & testament in the presence of us at his request & in his presence have inscribed (?) our names as witness thereof. Calvin Stone Mary King William Blain/Blair In addition to the foregoing I Samuel Dyer do will & bequeath that the aforesaid William & Charles Dyer shall pay to my beloved daughter, Harriet White, seventy five dollars in ______________ within one year from my decease. I will & bequeath that the said William & Charles Dyer shall pay a like amount unto my beloved daughter, Alvira Sherman, within two years of my decease.
