Windham Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania Will Book Vol. 2 page 275 Last Will and Testament of Eunice Shaw Shoemaker, decd. I, Eunice Shoemaker of the Township of Windham, County of Bradford, State of Pennsylvania, widow of Benjamin Shoemaker, deceased being in good health of body and of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and declare this to be my last will and testament. In manner that is to say that I order that all my just debts, funeral affairs and charges of proving this my last will be in the first place fully paid and satisfied and after payment thereof. I give and bequeath unto Anna Shoemaker, my daughter Mrs. Anna Dunham, widow of Sylvanus Dunham, all my household furniture whatever left of my beds and bedding except two beds and bedding which I give to my son, John Shoemaker. Also to Anna I give those [. . ? ..] I have them at the time of my death. Also her equal proportion of my landed property, these being one hundred twelve acres situated in Windham township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania and the one half of my wearing apparel I give and bequeath unto Mary M. Shoemaker, my daughter, now Mary M. Lathrop, wife of Hiram Lathrop her equal proportion of my landed property together with one half of my wearing apparel. I give and bequeath to Elijah Shoemaker 2nd his equal proportion of my landed property. I give to my son John Shoemaker our team of oxen or the value thereof in cash, Also two beds and its bedding. And to Elijah Shoemaker 2nd, in trust and care for my son John Shoemaker his equal proportion of my landed property being the one fourth part of my real estate, this being placed to John for this own use and being under the care and trust of Elijah Shoemaker 2nd, John being absent. I give and bequeath unto Richard S. Shoemaker my son one dollar, I give and bequeath to Samuel B. Shoemaker, my son thirty dollars. I give and bequeath unto Daniel Shoemaker, my son, thirty dollars. I give and bequeath as before written unto Anna and Mary, my daughters, Elijah and John, that is Elijah in trust for John's awaited benefit my entire land and property, being one hundred twelve acres of land to be assigned equal amongst said Anna, Mary, Elijah and John, Elijah being in trust for John, John being absent. I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint Elijah Shoemaker 2nd of Windham and Richard S. Shoemaker of Rush, both my sons, as executors of this my will hereby revoking all former and other wills by me at any other time hereto fore made and declare this only to be my last will and testament. In belief, where I the [....] testatrix have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal this Thirteenth day of April, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Three at this acclaim.
