Battle; A. Warner & Co.; 1887 Buckingham Township E. HICKS FELL farmer, P.O. Doylestown, was born in Buckingham township, on the old homestead where he now lives, February 11, 1829, and is a son of Eli and Rachel (Carr) Fell, natives of Bucks county, and of English descent. The grandfather, Seneca Fell, was a farmer, and inherited the farm on which E. Hicks now lives over one hundred years ago. He built a part of the house that now stands on the farm, and died there. Eli Fell was the next to own this farm, and lived and died on it. He was the father of fourteen children: Jane, Ruth, Eli, Rachel, Martha, Elias, Huldah, and Morris, living; and Eunice, Mary A., Unee, Watson, Grace, and James, deceased. E. Hicks Fell was reared, and has always lived on the homestead, and is the owner of quite a nice little farm. He was married October 16, 1861, to Mary E., daughter of Elwood and Sarah L. (Haines) Dudley.
