Battle; A. Warner & Co.; 1887 Richland Township A-M DAVID HARING farmer, P.O. Richland Center, was born in this county October 23, 1831. His grandparents Jacob and Mary Magdalena (Kidelman) Haring, were also natives of this county. The parents of our subject, Samuel and Christiana (Gilbert) Haring, had eight children, two of whom are deceased. David Haring was married in 1857 to Catherine, daughter of Josiah and Hannah Reller, of Montgomery county, Pa. They have one son. At the age of 19 years Mr. Haring learned the carpenter's trade, which occupation he continued for four years. He then married and lived with his father till 1865, when he purchased the farm which he now owns.
