Battle; A. Warner & Co.; 1887 Durham Township JOHN HOFFMAN merchant, P.O. Riegelsville, was born in Warren county, N. J., May 20, 1847, and is a son of Samuel and Elenora Hoffman, natives of Pennsylvania. He spent his early life and received his education in Riegelsville. He was married, August 19,1870, to Miss Mary Headman, by whom he has three children: Laura, Lizzie and Benjamin Franklin. He has been a school director for four years, and is a member of the Reformed church, and in politics is a democrat. Mr. Hoffman, in connection with general merchandise, deals in coal, wood, lime, etc., and runs a line of boats on the Delaware canal. He is junior warden of Prosperity lodge, No. 567, F. and A. M.
