Battle; A. Warner & Co.; 1887 Richland Township A-M MILTON JOHNSON deceased, was born in 1819 and was the youngest of the three sons of Caspar and Mary G. Johnson. His occupation was that of a farmer until 1870, when he removed to a lot adjoining his farm, where he lived until 1881, when he went to Quakertown. In 1868 he was married to Ann S., daughter of Samuel and Sidney (Foulke) Shaw. She was born 6th month, 6th, 1832. Her great-great-grandfather, Edward Foulke, came to Pennsylvania from Wales in 1698. Her grandparents on that side were John and Letitia Foulke. On the paternal side they were William and Sarah Shaw, who were life-long residents of Bucks county. Her parents had five children, all living except one son, James. Mr. Johnson was stricken with consumption and died September 30, 1882. Both he and his wife were highly respected and esteemed by all who knew them.
