Battle; A. Warner & Co.; 1887 Bedminster Township ABRAHAM K. MEYER farmer, P.O. Dublin, is the oldest living son of Rev. Isaac Meyer, under whose name is given the family history. The subject of this sketch was born in this township, near Pipersville, February 23, 1836. He worked for his father until he was 19 years old, when he began learning the trade of a carpenter, at which he worked for sixteen years, when he bought his father's farm, which he has since conducted. He was married January 23, 1863, to Sophia, daughter of Christian S. Myers, of this township. She was born May 15, 1844. They have four children: Tillman, who was born December 10, 1865; Lydia, born October 14, 1869; Edwin M., born November 20, 1873; and Abraham, born March 5, 1880; all of whom live with their parents. Mr. Meyer has never held nor desired public office, but has always been a hard-working, industrious man. Like their ancestors both he and his wife are members of the Old Deep Run Mennonite church.
