   ABRAHAM ORT retired, P.O. Richlandtown, was born in 1805 
in the county where he has always resided. For thirty-eight 
years he followed the trade of a wheelwright, and afterward 
purchased the farm which is now his happy home.  He has 
never married.  His parents were George and Elizabeth Ort, 
the former dying in 1851 and the latter in 1856.  They had 
seven children, all of whom are deceased, except our subject 
and Mary, widow of Samuel Biehn.  Mrs. Biehn resides with 
her brother.  She has had five children, three of whom are 
living:  Daniel, Levi O., now treasurer of the county, and 
Mary (Geisinger).
