Battle; A. Warner & Co.; 1887 Falls Township CHARLES A. PARSONS (deceased), farmer and seed grower, was born in Falls township June 30, 1831, and was a son of Isaac and Lydia Ann (Anderson) Parsons. He attended school in this township and at Langhorne and Norristown. He was a successful farmer and a good citizen. His death occurred January 9, 1885. He was married in 1856 to Mary, daughter of Spencer W. and Sarah A. (Williamson) Buckman, both of whom were born in this county. The children of this marriage were: Lucy, wife of Elwood Tyson, Of Delaware county, Pa.; Alice, Sarah B., Mary, Elizabeth, Alfred (deceased), Emma (deceased), Ulyssa (deceased), Margaret, Frederick (deceased) and Charles A. Mr. and Mrs. Parsons were both members of the Presbyterian church, of which the former was a trustee. He was a republican and served many years as a school director.
