We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ____________________________________________________ Bucks County Deeds Book 100 Page 277 Henry Barber, Joseph Barber, Elizabeth Moore, Mary Sands to James Barber This Indenture Made the twenty fifth day of march in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Seventy four Between Joseph Barber of the city and County of Burlington in the Province of New Jersey Carpenter and Elizabeth his wife Henry Barber of the County of Bucks in the Province of Pennsylvania Mill Wright Elizabeth Moore widow, and Mary Sands Widow, children James Barber and Elizabeth his wife Late Elizabeth Mitchell, Daughter of Henry Mitchell of Bristol Township in the County of Bucks and Province of Pennsylvania Carpenter deceased of the one part, And James Barber of the Township of Bristol in the County and Province aforesaid Mason and eldest son of said Elizabeth of the other part Whereas there is a certain Tract piece or parcel of Land situate Lying and being in the Township of Bristol aforesaid Beginning at a steake six perches to the westward of a Spanish Oak marked as a corner of Bodines Land thence extending along Bodines line North Seventy two degrees thirty Minutes East ninety one perches into Mill creek thence South nineteen degrees East Fifty eight perches and one tenth of a parch thence South seventy degrees thirty Minutes west ninety one perches to a marked tree for a corner North nineteen degrees west fifty eight perch to the first mentioned stake the place of Beginning Containing Thirty three Acres of Lane the same being part of a Larger tract of Land formerly of Joseph Growden late of Trevose in the County of Bucks aforesaid and by him sold an conveyed to the aforesaid Henry Mitchell by Indenture of Lease and Release Recorded in the Rolls office for the County of Bucks Book B. Vol. 3 page 52-&c And also part of the real Estate of the said Henry Mitchell the Father of the said Elizabeth and Grandfather to the parties to these presents of which he died seized and intestate. And afterward to witt on the Twenty fourth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Seventy four by certain Indentures of Partition Release and Quit claim made and executed by and between and amongst the several coheirs & heirs of the said coheirs & their representatives of the said Henry Mitchell now Released and confirmed unto the said James Barber and the said Joseph Barber and the said Henry Barber and the said Elizabeth Moore and the said Mary Sands and their heirs and assigns forever as their shares or purparts of the Real Estate of their Grandfather the said Henry Mitchell in right of their Mother the said Elizabeth Barber Daughter of said Henry. Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said Joseph Barber and Elizabeth his wife Henry Barber Elizabeth Moore and Mary Sands as will for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and ten pounds Lawful money of the said Province of Pennsylvania to them in hand well and truly paid by the said James Barber that is to say the sum of Twenty seven pounds Ten Shillings Lawful money aforesaid paid to the said Joseph Barber and Elizabeth his wife and the Like sum of Twenty seven pounds Ten Shillings Lawful money aforesaid paid to the said Henry Barber And the Like sum of Twenty seven pounds Ten Shillings Lawful money aforesaid paid to the said Elizabeth Moore And the Like sum of Twenty seven pounds Ten Shillings Lawful money aforesaid paid to the said Mary Sands the Receipt of which several sums they and each o them doth hereby acknowledge and of all and every part thereof as severally acquit and forever discharge the said James Barber his heirs and assigns by these presents doth grant Bargain sell and absolutely and duly Remise Release and forever quit claim unto the said James Barber and to his heirs and assigns all the above described Tract Piece or parcel of Land Together with the Buildings Improvements Ways woods Meadows fields Fences waters water courses Rights Liberties Privileges Emoluments hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any way appertaining and the Revisions and Remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all and every of the estate right title interest Property claim and Demand whatsoever of them the said Joseph Barber, Henry Barber, Elizabeth Moore and Mary Sands or either or any of them of in and To the said Thirty three acres of Land or any part thereof To have and to Hold the same thirty three Acres of Land hereditaments and remises hereby granted and released on as mentioned or intended to be granted and released with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said James Barber and his heirs To the only use benefit and Behoof of him the said James Barber his heirs and assigns forever Under the Quit Rents hereafter to become du for the said Thirty three Acres of Land to the chief Lord or Lords of the fee thereof so that neither he the said Joseph Barber and Elizabeth his wife or the said Henry Barber or the said Elizabeth Moore or the said Mary Sands nor either of them their or either Heirs nor any other person or person for them or either or any of them or in their or either or any of their names right Title or in the Name right or --- or any of them or either of them shall or will by any ways or Reasons hereafter have claim challenge or demand any estate right title or interest of in or to the premises or any part thereof But thereof and from the same and every part and parcel thereof shall be --- & forever excluded by these presents And the said Joseph Barber and Elizabeth his wife And the said Henry Barber and the said Elizabeth Moore and the said Mary Sands do promise and agree each for themselves and each one for the other that at the Reason request and proper --- of him the said James Barber his heirs or assigns that they and each of them will make do --- and acknowledge any further or other Reasonable Act deed or devise in the Law for the further & better assuring and confirminth the hereby --- --- in the Law shall be reasonably devised Advised or required In Witness whereof the said parties to these presents have interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year specified.
