Deed: Thomas Brock to Joseph Kirkbride, 1699 To all People before whome these presents shall come Know Ye that Thomas Brock of the County of Bucks and Province of Pennsylvania Yeoman for and in consideration of the sum of twenty five pounds current silver money of the aforesaid Province to him in hand paid by Joseph Kirkbride of the aforesaid Province and County Yeoman the receipt whereof he the said Thomas Brock doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth acquit and discharge the said Joseph Kirkbride his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever by these presents he the said Thomas Brock hath given granted aliened bargained sold enfeofed and confirmed and by these presents doth freely and absolutely give grant alien bargain and sell enfeoff and confirm unto the said Joseph Kirkbride his heirs and assigns two lots of land lying and being in the County of Bucks in Buckingham The one lot Beginning at a corner post standing by the side of Radcliff Street being the corner of Jeremiah Dungans lot thence by the said Street side four rods wanting five links to a corner post thence South twenty seven degrees East to the River Delaware thence by the River four rods wanting five links to Jeremiah Dungans lot aforesaid thence by the said lots side to the first mentioned corner North twenty seven degrees West The other lot begins at a corner post being the corner of Cedar Street and Mulberry Street thence by the Southerly side of the said Cedar Street eleven rods and a half to a corner thence by a lot of Anthony Burtons six rods and three quarters thence by another lot of the said Burtons eleven rods and a half to Mulbury Street thence by by the side of Mulbury Street six perches and three quarters to the place of Beginning which said lots of land are part of eleven acres which was granted to said Thomas Brock and Anthony Burton aforesaid and their heirs by deed poll duly executed under th hand and seal of Joseph English bearing date the 20th day of the twelfth month 1695 and since laid out unto the said Brock as part of his moiety of the said eleven acres as by Indentures of partition made between the said Brock and Burton dated the 8th day of the 4th month 1696, may appear and all the estate right title interest use posession property claim and demand whatsoever of him the said Thomas Brock of in and to the same with the reversions remainders rents issues and profits thereof To have an To Hold the said two lots of land and premises with the appurtenances to him the said Joseph Kirkbride his heirs and assigns to the only use and behoof of him the said Joseph Kirkbride his heirs and assigns for ever Under the yearly rents due or to become due to the Proprietary his heirs or successors And the said Thomas Brock for himself and for his heirs executors and administrators doth covenant promise and grant to and with the said Joseph Kirkbride his heirs and assigns that the said lots of land and premises unto him the said Joseph Kirkbride his heirs and against him the said Thomas Brock and his heirs and all other persons claiming and to claim by from or under him them or any of them shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof the said Thomas Brock hath hereunto set his hand and seal (seal) the eighteenth day of the 8th month Anno Dmi one thousand six hundred ninety nine 1699.
