Deed: Jos Kirkbride to Thos Kirkbride, 1705 To all People before whom these presents shall come Know Ye that Joseph Kirkbride of the Falls Township in the County of Bucks in the Province of Pennsylvania Yeoman for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty pounds of current money of the said Province to him in hand paid by Thomas Kirkbride brother to the said Joseph the receipt whereof the said Joseph doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth acquit and discharge the said Thomas Kirkbride his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever by these presents he the said Joseph hath granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and by these presents confirmed unto the said Thomas Kirkbride his heirs and assigns a certain piece or parcel of land Situate lying and being in Makefield township in the said County Beginning at a white oak in the line of John Snowdonís land formerly laid out to William Beaks thence by Matthew Kirkbrideís land South forty seven to a post then by land laid out to John Luffe South seventy five degrees West twenty perches to a post then by the said Luffs land West two degrees South five hundred thirty four perches to a post and heap of stone then by Richard Houghs land North sixty perches to a post and heap of stones then by the said Snowdonís land East five fifty eight perches to the place of Beginning Containing one hundred eighty eight acres and one hundred twenty eight perches Being part of a tract of land sold and conveyed unto the said Joseph Kirkbride from John Parsons by Deed Poll duly executed bearing date the first day of the tenth Month 1701 for the consideration therein mentioned and confirmed unto the said John Parsons by patent under the hand of William Penn Proprietary and Governor and under the great seal of the said Province bearing date the 16th day of the 7th Month 1701. Together with all woods ways waters watercourses privileges improvements and also all the estate right tile interest use possession property claim and demand whatsoever of him the said Joseph Kirkbride of or to the same with the reversions remainders rents issues and profits thereof and also all deed evidences warrants surveys patents and another writings concerning the same, To Have and to hold the said one hundred eighty eight acres and one hundred twenty eight perches of land and premises with the appurtenances to him the said Thomas Kirkbride his heirs and assigns forever. Under the yearly rents from henceforth to become due to the Proprietary his heirs and successors And the said Joseph Kirkbride for himself his heirs executors and Administrators doth covenant grant and agree to and with the said Thomas Kirkbride his heirs executors administrators and assigns that he the said Joseph the said land and premises hereby granted with the appurtenances to him the said Thomas Kirkbride his heirs and assigns against him the said Joseph and his heirs and against all other persons whatsoever lawfully claiming or to claim by form or under him them or any of them shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof the said Joseph Kirkbride hath hereunto set his hand and seal the thirteenth day of the fourth Month Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and five 1705.
