Barber and others to Timothy Roberts To all People To whom these Presents Shall Come John Mitchell, Henry Mitchell, James Barber, & Elizabeth his Wife, Thomas Janney & Martha His Wife, Joseph Clark & Sarah his Wife all of Middletown In the County of Bucks & Province of Pennsylvania, Sendeth Greeting The said John Henry Elizabeth Martha and Sarah Being Children of Henry Mitchell of Middletown aforesaid Carpenter Deceased Whereas the said Henry Mitchell Our Father by him Good Conveyances or Assurances in Law Duly had and Executed and Lawfulled Seized of & --- fully --- ---- Undivided Fourth Part of Two Water Grist Mills or corn mills which are bounded as Followeth Vizt. The First of the said Tracts or Parcels Begin at a Stump by Neshaminy Creek at a corner of Land Latly of George Vansant from Thence South Twenty Seven Degrees West Fifty Perches To a Post Thence North Twenty Six Degrees West Ninety Two Perches To a Post Thence North Twenty Two Degrees East by Joseph Growden's Land One Hundred and Twenty Three Perches To a Birch Tree Standing by the said Neshaminy Creek Thence Down the same the several courses thereof To the First mentioned Stump & Contains Fifty Acres The Second Tract or Parcel Begins at a Poplar Tree Standing by the said Neshaminy Creek thence south --- Degrees West four Perches To a small Black Oak Sapling Thence by a Line of Marked Trees North Fifty Five Degrees West Eighty Eight Perches to a Corner Post Thence North Fifty Degrees East Thirteen perches To a Spanish Oak sapling by the said Neshaminy Creek thence Down the same the several courses thereof To the place of Beginning Containing Two Acres & a Half The Third Tract or Parcel Begins at a White Oak sapling Standing on the South side of a Small Run of Water Thence South Forty Nine Degrees East Fourteen Perches To a Black Oak Sapling by John Prauls Land Thence by the said Prauls Land South Twenty Four degrees East Thirteen Perches to a Water Beech Tree by the said Neshaminy Creek Thence up the Same the Several Courses Sixty Two Perches to a Post in John Plumley's Line thence by the said Plumley's Land North Fifty Five Degrees East Twenty Three perches to a small Hickory Tree Thence South Fifty Degrees East Eight Perches to a Post Thence South Seventy Eight Degrees East --- to a small oak Tree by the aforesaid Run Thence Sixty Seven Degrees East Twelve Perches to the place of Beginning & Contains Five Acres and Thirty Perches The Fourth Tract or Parcel Begins at a White Oak by the said Neshaminy Creek Thence North Eighty Six Degrees East & five perches to a --- ---- South Forty Degrees East Twenty Perches Thence South Fifty Six Degrees East Four Perches Thence Fifty three Degrees East Fourteen Perches --- thence South Forty Degrees East Six perches thence South Fifty Eight Degrees East Thirteen Perches and a half to a Post all the last Mentioned Courses are by John Plumley's Land Thence by other Land Belonging to the said Mills South Fifty Five Degrees West Twenty Six Perches to another Post & standing by the Neshaminy Creek thence up the same by the Several Courses thereof to the place of Beginning & Contains Thirty Acres & Three Quarters and Twelve Perches the said Henry Mitchell Being Seized of the properties aforesaid --- Dyed Intestate. Now Know Ye that we the said John Mitchell Henry Mitchell James Barber & Elizabeth his Wife, Thomas Janney & Martha his Wife, Joseph Clark and Sarah his Wife For and in Consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings Lawfull money of America to us Respectably paid by Timothy Roberts of Middletown aforesaid cooper as also for Other Sufficient Causes and Considerations as hereunto Especially --- Hath --- Released & Forever Quit Claimed and by these (entire line illegible) presents Doth Remise Reels & forever Quit Claim unto the said Timothy Roberts In his --- & full and Peaceable Possession & --- now Being and to his Heirs & Assigns all the Estates Right Titles Interest Property Claims and Demand whatsoever which we the said John Mitchell Henry Mitchell James Barber & Elisabeth his Wife Thomas Janney and Martha his wife and Joseph Clark and Sarah his Wife or any of Us now have or had or any of Our heirs Exrs. Admst. or Assigns at any Time or Times hereafter this May or Ought to have of in or to the above mentioned One Equal & Undivided Fourth part of Two Water Grist Mills & Boulting Mills & Other Buildings & Four Tracts or Parcels of Land and also Every the appurtenances To them or any of them Belonging or in any Wise Appertaining To have and to hold all Singular the said One Equal & Undivided Fourth part of the said Two Water Grist Mills or Corn Mills Boulting Mills or other Buildings & of the said Four tracts or Parcels of Land (above Desribed) Hereditaments :& Premises with these and Every of their Appurtenances unto the said Timothy Roberts his Heirs and Assigns for Ever So that Neither We the said John Mitchell Henry Mitchell James Barber Elizabeth his wife Thomas Janney Martha his Wife Joseph Carl and Sarah his Wife nor we nor any of our heirs nor any other Person or Persons for us or any of Us or in our name or any of our names Right, Tytles or Stead Shall or may be any ways or means hereafter have Claim Challenge or Demand any Estate Right Tytle Interest in or to the Premises afforsd. or any Part thereof But From --- Right Tiytle Interest or Demand of in or to the same Premises & Every of them Shall & will be Utterly Excluded & for Ever Delivered by these presents And the said John Mitchell Henry Mitchell James Barber & Elizabeth his Wife Thomas Janney & Martha his Wife Joseph Clark and Sarah his Wife for our Selves Our Heirs Exrc. Admrs. for Each & Every of Us & them --- and Respectively Do Covenant Promise and Grant To and with the said Timothy Roberts his Heirs and Assigns in manner & form Following That is to Say that we the said John Mitchell Henry Mitchell Thomas Janney & Martha his wife James Barber & Elizabeth his Wife Joseph Clark and Sarah his We the aforesaid One Equal & Undivided Fourth part of the said Two Water Grist Mills or Corn Mills & Boulting Mills & four Tracts or Parcels of Land Hereditatments & Premises hereby Released with the appurtenances unto the said Timothy Roberts his Heirs and Assigns Against us & Each & Every of Us and Each & Every of our Heirs Exrs. Adms.
