Proved: 4 Jan 1779 Bucks County Wills ID. 1779-#1607 [front of document] I John Blaker of Northampton Township in the County of Bucks in the province of Pennsylvania being weak of body but of sound disposing mind and memory praised be God for the same do make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following First -- My will and mind is that my just debts and funeral expenses be paid and discharged Item I give and bequeathe unto my son Peter Blaker the north side of my plantation where I now dwell the beginning corner to be in the middle of the great road at Neshaminy Creek and so extending along the road as the road now is till it croses (sic) the run that comes down from where Elizabeth Routledge lives and so up the south side of the run til it comes where the water is taken out of the run to water the meadow by the house he my said son Peter Blaker is to have the benefit and use of that run of water he his heirs and assigns forever to water the meadows with and so then to extend a line as it will best divide and so down John Coppers line and mine to the above said creek and so along the several courses of the creek to the place of begining he my said son Peter Blaker to have twenty five acres more in his part than my son John Blaker or Acchiles is to have in their parts he my said son Peter Blaker to have and to hold that part of the above described plantation with all the buildings and improvements there upon to hold to him his heirs and assigns forever Item I give and bequeathe unto my son Paul Blaker the east end of my plantation that was my uncle Paul Blakers and so much of the upper end of the south side of my plantation where I now dwell as will make in the whole of two tracts twenty five acres more than is in my son John Blakers or in my son Acchilles Blaker part the begining of that part that was my uncle Paul Blakers to begin at my cousin Peter Blakers line and to extend as will make both tracts an equal quantity of acres with my son Peter Blakers tract to hold to him my son Paul Blaker his heirs and assigns forever Item I give and bequeathe unto my son John Blaker the lower end of the south side of my plantation where I now dwell adjoining Nashaminy Creek so much of it as will make an equal quantity of acres with my son Achilles Blakers part the place of begining to be in the road at Neshaminy Creek where my son Peter Blakers begins as is above exprest (sic) he my said son John Blaker not to have so much in his part as Peter hath in his part by twenty five acres he my said son John Blaker to have that part of my plantation with all the buildings and improvements there unto belonging during his natural life and no longer and after his decease I give and bequeathe it unto my grandson Peter Blaker son of my afforsaid (sic) son John Blaker to hold to him my grandson Peter Blaker his heirs and assigns forever Item I give and bequeathe unto my said son Acchilles Blaker the west end of my plantation that was my uncle Paul Blakers so much of it as will make an equal quantity of acres with my son John Blakers part and not to have so much in it as there is in Peters part by twenty five acres to hold to him choose from amongst them and a plow and plow irons and a harrow with iron teeth and a set of plow gears and such a waggon as I have at my death he is to have to hold to him his heirs and assigns forever Item It is my will and mind that my four sons namely Peter Blaker Paul Blaker John Blaker Acchiles Blaker build my beloved wife Mary Blaker a convenient room for her to live in dureing (sic) her widdowhood (sic) on my son Acchilles land they my four sons to be at equal expenses alike at building it and my son Acchilles is to find her firewood cut and hauled to her room door of a suitable length and I give unto her my best bed and furniture there unto belonging and my case of drawers and my largest looking glass and the sum of fifteen pounds a year yearly and every year dureing (sic) her natural life to be paid to her by my four sons namely Peter Blaker Paul Blaker John Blaker and Acchilles Blaker equally between them Item I give and bequeathe unto my five daughters namely Ruth Hibbs Sarah Hibbs Pheaby Wiggons Cathrine Wissner and Mary Hampton the sum of seven pounds apiece to each of them respectively by my executors herein after mentioned within twelve months after my decease out of my moveable estate if it be sufficient so to do but if my moveables is not sufficient to pay my just debts and funeral expenses then my will mind is that my four sons shall pay my five daughters legacys out of the land I give them equally between them share and share alike within twelve months after my decease And I do hereby nominate my two sons Peter Blaker and Paul Blaker to be my sole executors of this my Last Will and Testament utterly revoking all other former wills ratifing (sic) and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Eight Signed sealed and pronounced by the said John Blaker to be his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us John Story Henry Cooper signature of Paul Blaker John Blaker (from all appearances, it was the hand of John Story who penned this will) Ref. The Account of the Settlement of the Estate of John Blaker, decd. Filed June 16th 1788. The following names were included in this settlement: Please take note: In John Blakers will, he appointed his two sons, Peter and Paul Blaker as his executors. His son Peter died in 1788, obviously before his father's accounts were settled. Peter died intestate, and Isaac Wiggins was listed as one of his administrators. Since Peter was dead by the time the account of his father John was settled, this is why Isaac Wiggins shows up as a representative of Peter Blaker on John Blaker's settlement.
