Will of Job Bunting, 1702 For as much as it hath often entered into my heart to Conssider that its decreed for all men once to dye & yet the time uncertain as to man; for times & seasons are in the Lords hand; And I being truely sensible of the patence, love & goodness of god; in waiteing to be gracious as well as to refresh satisfie and comfort the hidden & inward man of the heart; to all who are faithful & obeident; and also he is not a wanting; to renew his mercies & to add outward blessings for the Comfort help & supply of the outward man; who stands in need thereof daly while he remaines in this life and as the Lord in his son and savior; hath committed a small portion into my hands; Therefore in discharge of my duety and belefe (as a Christian) have a Just right Interest and property thereto; & now power to order, give & dispose therof as shall in the wisdome of god be Indued therein shall as afterwards followeth: yett warneth the issue thereof to him: who is god over all Blessed forever, amen. The fourteenth day of the ninth month dated nover 1702. I Job Bunting of the township of Bristol & County of Bucks being under great weeknes of boddy; yett in pergfectt memory doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament & order & dispose of my outward esstaite in manner & form following: First As for my hole esstate personall & reall moveable and imoveable it is my will and mind shall all be equally devided betwixt Rachell Bunting my now wife and all my Childer; that is to say Samll my oldest sonn & Job my second & John my youngest sonn now in being; and Rebekah & Sarah my two daughters and if please god my wife be now with child whether sonn or daughter, it is my mind it shall go equall in my estate with the rest of my childer before mentioned. Item. It is my will that my reall estate shall be sould and my debts discharged; & what remaines my wife to have half through all & my childer the other half equall, that as they shall come to the age of twenty one years. But if my wife rather Incline to kepe the land paying as it may be now vallued and discharge the debts I am very willing. Item It is my will that if any of my sd Childer shall dye before the come to the age of twenty one years yt ther portion shall goo equaly amongst ye rest ~~~ Item. Wheras I have already sould 3 Akors of Middow & upland to Joseph Gennue it is my mind my wife shall confirme it to this use & receive money for the same ~~~~ Item.
