Bucks County Wills Book A, Vol. 1 p. 149 John Johnson, 1731 To all whome it may Concern Greeting I john Johnson of Newtown In the County of Bucks in the Province of Pensilvania being Indisposed and sick of Body but of Sound & Disposing mind and memory Thanks be to the Lord for the same but Calling to mind the uncertainty of my Time in the World do make & ordain this my Last Will & Testament In form & manner following Viz first of all and principally I Bequeath my Soul unto the hands of Allmighty God that gave it and my Body to be Buryed at the Discretion of my Executors hereafter named And Secondly in will & mind -- that all my Just Debts & Funerall Expenses be payd and Discharged ITEM, my will & mind is and I do hereby give full Power to my Executors hereafter named to Sell and Dispose of all my Estate both Real & Personall and --- the same as is hereafter Directed and if they shall Conv--nt to sell my Land & plantation now in my Possession, they shall have full Power to make good & Lawfull Title of Inheritance Thereunto so will my said Executors or ye Survivors of them and untill my said estate be Turned into money my Children hereafter named shall be supported and maintained by our --- of the whole bu- --- soon as the same by my Said Executors shall be Reduced unto money I Give & Bequeath unto my Beloved Wife Margarett Johnson out of ye said money the sum of Twenty Pounds Current money and the Remaining part or Residue thereof I give and Devise Equally unto my two Sons to wit Lawrance Johnson & Abraham Johnson that is ---Item I Give the same for Educating & Bringing up my said Children at the Discretion of my said Executors & what shall remain of ye. said money they shall receive at the age of Twenty one years and if either of them shall Decease before that age the other shall receive his share and if both of them shall Decease before the said age then what Belongs to them shall be Equally Divided & my aforesaid Wife Margaret Johnson shall have one half thereof and my Brother Abraham Johnson shall have the other And Lastly I Do Constitute appoint & Nominate my Trusty Friends Euclydis Longshore and Joseph Wildman whole & sole Executors of this my Last will & Testament unto whom Together with my Loving Wife I do Committ and Leave the whole Care and Disposing of my aforesaid Two Children An I do hereby revoke Disanull & make voyd all former wills and Testaments by me heretofore made In Witness whereof I the said John Johnson to this my Last Will and Testament have set my Hand & Seal This Twenty Ninth Day of July Anno domini One Thousand Seven Hundred & Thirty one 1731 John Johnson Signed Sealed Published & Declared by the above John Johnson to be his Last Will & Testament in the Presence of us Rachel Janney William Carny (his Mark) Thomas Heard (his mark)
