Johnson Late of Upper Makefield Township - deceased Proved and filed January 12th 1886. - John F. Fosbunner, Register Will Book No. 23 Page 51 "I Louisa T. Johnson of the township of Upper Makefield County of Bucks, and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound disposing mind, memory and understanding, and aware of the uncertainty of life, do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament to wit:- First: I order and direct that all my just debts, and funeral expenses shall be paid. Second: I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved children, all my property, real, personal or mixed whatsoever and wherever situate, share and share alike; and in addition to her share, I give unto my daughter Maryetta McMaster my household furniture. Third: I order and direct that all just claims against each child be deducted from their portion. And I do nominate, constitute and appoint my son William H. Johnson and my son in law John McMaster to be the excutors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and and all former Wills by me at any time made. In witness whereof I have herunto set my hand and seal this 14 day of January A.D. 1885. - (signed) Louisa T. Johnson Codicil: I will to my son Charles S Johnson one Dollar as his share of my estate he having had more than an Equivalent during our lifetime. - (signed) Louisa T. Fosbunner, REGISTER OF WILLS, in and for the County aforesaid, John McMasters who, being duly sworn according to law, did depose and say that he is well acquainted with the handwriting of Bernard Frey and has seen him write, and that he believes the signature of the said Bernard Frey to the annexed paper writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Louisa T. Johnson is in his own proper hand writing, and that the said Bernard Frey is now deceased. Sworn and subscribed before me the twelfth day of January A.D. 1886. - John F. Fosbunner, Register. - (signed) John McMasters Bucks County, SS. On the Twelth day of January A.D. 1886, personally appeared before me, John F. Fosbunner, Register of Wills, in and for the County of Bucks, Anna Ballance Frey one of the subscribing witnesses to the annexed instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament (and codicil) of Louisa T. Johnson dec'd, and being first duly affirmed according to law, did depose and say that they were present and saw and heard Louisa T. Johnson the Testatrix sign and seal, publish, pronounce, and declare the annexed paper writing as and for her last will and testament (and codicil) and that at the time of her so doing she was of sound mind and memory, and of disposing understanding, to the best of her knowledge and belief. - (signed) John F Fosbunner, Register Bucks County, SS. BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the Twelfth say of January A.D. 1886, the annexed last will and testament and codicil of Louisa T. Johnson deceased, was duly proved, when letters testamentary thereon were granted unto John McMasters one of the executors named. Wm. H. Johnson the other Executor named having renounced his right to act. He having been duly sworn well and truly to administer the goods and chattels, rights and credits of the said deceased according to law. And also, diligently and faithfully to regard, and well and truly comply with, the provisions of the law relating to Collateral Inheritances. - (signed) John F. Fosbunner, Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration, in and for said County, Wm. H. Johnson who being duly sworn according to law, doth depose and say that Louisa T. Johnson late of Upper Makefield Twp said County, deceased, died at Lambertville N.J. on or about the 18th day of December A.D. 1885 at 12:30 o'clock P.M. of said day to the best of his knowledge and belief. Fosbunner Esq., Register for the Probate of Wills and Granting Letters of Administration, in and for said County, came John McMasters who, being duly qualified, says that as Executor of the Estate of Louisa T. Johnson late of Upper Makefield deceased, you will well and truly administer the Goods and Chattels, Rights and Credits of the said deceased according to law, and diligently and faithfully regard, and well and truly comply with, the provisions of the law relating to collateral inheritances. Johnson, I do hereby renounce my right to act and refuse to take upon myself the burden of the execution of said will and request you to grant letters unto John McMasters the other Executor therein named.
