  November 1865 Butler Pa.
                                      Dead 
  At his residence in Brownsdale Butler County. Of chronic Dyspepsia.
  William S.McKinney in his thirty fifth year of life.
  Hark another soul departed,to the arms of God above.
  But we must be still and quiet,knowing truly God is love.
  He's gone a noble brother,left his wife and children dear.
  And we trust he's now in heaven,while we shed a silent tear.
  His form lies now beneath the sod,beside a loved one gone before.
  We feel they both are with are God,where pain and trouble are no more.
  Petersville, Nov.22 1865 M.M.
  I am guessing this was written by Mary Mckinney, William S. MCkinney's  sister.
  
  Additional Comments:
  This paper came out once a month. I had already had his death date and looked 
  at every page till I found it. This William S. Mckinney Tombstone Photo is under 
  Brownsdale Butler county as is his Wife Elizabeth Gray Mckinney. She does not 
  have Gray on her Marker.
