I, MARY BEATTY, of the Township of Mercer, County of Butler and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, ordain and publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, that is to say, viz: I order all my just debts are paid and discharged. The residue of my property I give and bequeath as follows: To my daughter, Clarissa, I give and bequeath all my milk cows, excepting one, also twenty sheep, four beds and bedding, also the clock and kitchen furniture, the dishes in the cupboard, and all the cooking ware and table, and all the chairs, four bedsteads, and the lounge, To my daughter, Eliza Anne McPate, I give and bequeath the young white faced cow, also six sheep, including the lambs. Also, I order my executors to sell the residue of my property, and after paying all debts, give to my daughter, Clarissa the renainder, if any, after proceeds of said sale. Likewise, I constitute and appoint James B. Burnes of Township and County aforesaid to be executor of this, my last will and testament. And I herein revoke all former wills made by me. In witness whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this fifteenth day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy Six.
