I, John Beaty, of Donegal Township, Butler County and State of Pennsylvania, being in good health of body, and of sound mind and memory (praise be God for the same), and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs while I have strength and capacity to do, do make and publish this, my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. And from, and after payment thereof and subject thereunto, then my will is that all the residue of my estate both real and personal of what kind and nature, I give and bequeath the same unto my beloved wife, Nancy Beaty, during her natural lifetime, and at her decease my will is that all my estate, both real and personal, be sold to the highest and best bidders, and the proceeds thereof be divided among my then surviving children, share and share alike, excepting my daughter, Elizabeth Thorn, to whom I give and bequeath fifty dollars, to be expended wisely and judiciously for clothes for said Elizabeth Thorn.
