In the Name of God, Amen I, Barbara McCullough, of Butler Borough, Butler County, Penna., being of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, and realizing the uncertainty of this mortal life do hereby make public, ordain and declare this to be my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void any and all former Wills by me at any time made: Item First = I hereby authorize and direct that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be paid by my Executor hereinafter named as soon after my decease as can be conveniently done. Item Second = I give and bequeath all my personal wearing apparel unto my sisters, Lavinia Black, Sallie Black, and Delilah Black, share and share alike, they to divide the same between them according to their own judgment. Item Third = I give and bequeath unto my Daughter-in-law, Maggie McCullough, all my household and kitchen furniture, beds, bedding, books, and pictures, and all personal effects (except my wearing apparel) in and about my dwelling house for the sole and exclusive use of her and her family as she may determine. Item Fourth = I hereby give, devise and bequeath unto my Son, Sidney McCullough, for and during the term of his natural life the use, occupancy and enjoyment of all my Real Estate situate on Washington Street in the Borough of Butler, County of Butler and State of Pa. Item Fifth = After the death of my Son, Sidney McCullough. I give, devise and bequeath all my Real Estate situate on Washington Street in the Borough of Butler, County of Butler and State of Pa. unto the children of my Son, Sidney McCullough and in order that this not be misunderstood I declare it to be my desire that the children of my Son, Sidney McCullough take and have the entire fee of in & to the aforesaid Real Estate subject to the life estate of my Son, Sidney McCullough, in the aforesaid Real Estate. Item Sixth = I hereby name, nominate, constitute and appoint my friend Henry Miller Executor of this my last Will and Testament. Sutton Text of the First Codicil dated August 19, 1893 to the Last Will and Testament of Barbara McCollough dated March 17, 1893, CODICIL Whereas, since the making of my last Will and Testament dated March 17, A.D. 1893, I have sold my Real Estate to the Overseers of the Poor of Butler Boro, Pa. I hereby make this Codicil to the said Will. I give and bequeath the Watch of my late husband to my son, Sidney. I direct that my executor pay all my just debts including wages due my nurse. Also to pay my funeral expenses and see that I am interred in a decent manner and Christian Burial and place a tombstone at the graves of myself and my husband. Whatever balance of money left after all these expenses are paid and my Estate finally settled I direct to be divided into two equal parts and distributed one equal part to my Son, Sidney, and the other equal part to be evenly divided between the five children of my son, Sidney. And in order to carry out the provisions of this Codicil, I direct my Executor to demand and receive from the Overseers of the Poor of Butler Boro, Pa, the entire unexpended balance due and by them at my death on the purchase price of my said Real Estate.
