STRITTMATTER, the remaining member of the firm of Strittmatter Brothers, is an active business man. He received a good common-school education; learned the trade of carpenter, and has been engaged in contracting and building ever since. He is a democrat and a Catholic, and at the present time is serving as a member of the town council of Hastings.
