Samuel Baxter ) The declaration of Samuel Baxter upon his Solemn Oath represents that he was born in North Wales that it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiances and fidelity to every foreign prince, potentate state or sovereignty whatever and particularly to Queen Victoria of Great Britain & Ireland of whom he was heretofore a subject. And the said Samuel Baxter makes report and registry as follow viz: Name, Samuel Baxter, Birth place, North Wales, Age, about thirty three years, Nation and Alle- giance, Great Britain & Queen thereof, Place whence he migrated, Liverpool Place of intended Settlement, Cambria County. --- Sworn and subscribed in open ) Samuel Baxter Court this 5 day of July 1843 ) Wm A.
